Kevin Chu signs JET for Karbony, a project inspired by the paper airplane, a universal symbol of childhood and its free, spontaneous imagination. Made from woven carbon fiber, JET translates the fragile lightness of paper into a strong, ultra-light structure, giving form to a subtle paradox between memory and innovation. Suspended in space, the object responds even to the slightest air movements, generating delicate oscillations and ever-changing plays of shadow. Scalable to architectural dimensions, JET can transform from a decorative object into an immersive installation, capable of engaging in a dialogue with its surroundings and redefining the perception of space through light, matter, and motion.
