The encounter between design, art and carbon fiber at Superstudio Design during Milan Design Week 2026

On the occasion of Milan Design Week 2026, Karbony presents Infinity at Superstudio Design, a project that transforms carbon fiber into architecture, light and shadow. Both a structural element and a metaphor for the connection between matter, space and vision, carbon fiber becomes the starting point for an installation in which design, art and culture enter into dialogue.

Within this space, a dialogue takes shape between Karbony’s research and Ross Lovegrove’s international design vision. In Milan, Lovegrove presents the sculptures Gabo 2.0 and Stereometric Method (80 × 70 × 200 cm), works that explore kinetic rhythm, energy and depth through lightweight structures in which volume seems to emerge from the air.

To bring the works to life, Lovegrove chose to collaborate with Karbony, with Whitelabel as technical partner, challenging the company to translate complex design concepts into tangible forms through its distinctive artisanal craftsmanship.

The result is an environment in which carbon fiber, light and shadow interact, creating a landscape where art, design and craftsmanship converge. A project that expresses Karbony’s vocation: using carbon fiber not simply as a technical material, but as a tool for shaping space and creating new perceptual experiences.
